Benitez: We must not panic

Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez believes his side need to keep calm when they welcome Arsenal on Sunday, as unrest continues to grow at Stamford Bridge.

• Benitez laments finishing
• Wilkins: Blues lacking options

Chelsea go into Sunday's Premier League clash off the back of a woeful run of home results that has seen them yet to win any of their three games there this year, while they have picked up just two victories from their last eight home games.

Although Benitez's men have won their last six away games, their home form has led to a frosty atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, with both the former Liverpool boss and Fernando Torres receiving jeers from the crowd in recent games.

However, with the Gunners - who will have been boosted by their FA Cup win over Swansea in midweek - up next, Benitez does not want his team to panic.

"The main thing for us is keep calm, keep pushing and keep trying to go forward in the right way, and then we will not give any hope to the other teams," he said.

"Arsenal is a top side, a good team. They are not the kind of team who will be 11 players behind the ball, close to the edge of the box waiting. It will be a different kind of game.

"The main thing is that we have to do our best from the beginning. If we score [the fans] will enjoy, and if we play well they will enjoy. If we do our job, then they will follow the team. We have to win together, and hopefully we can start against Arsenal."

Chelsea will be in search of victory on Sunday as their slip-up against Southampton has left them 13 points off league-leaders Manchester United.
