Premier Showdown - Jan 12-13

It's starting to look like the La Liga title race in Premier Showdown as Tommy Smyth won yet again last time out, and he's now built up a nine-point advantage at the top of the table. We're heading back here to England to see if the Rest of the World can cut Tommy's lead, and it's Darius Siahpoosh who takes up the challenge this week. He tells us: "I am a huge Tottenham fan. I send in an entry every single week. I am 27 and work as a chef at a sports bar. I study every football match every weekend and would be honoured to have a go!. "Tommy keep doing your predictions they rock. By the way I have a feeling Dale is going to make a comeback - watch out, Tommy." Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPN journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

A comfortable win for Darius who claims a crucial three points for the Rest of the World. And it's another shocking performance from Dale.
