Ranocchia handed two-match ban
Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia has been handed a suspension for a 'provocative expression' towards the fourth official during his side's last match of 2012.
Ranocchia, 24, allegedly confronted the match official in the dressing room area following the 1-1 draw against Genoa at San Siro and has been handed the punishment as well as a €10,000 fine.
The FIGC disciplinary commission announced on Friday it would also be adding a further one-game ban to the one the player was already to receive after collecting his fourth yellow card of the campaign in the same game.
He will now miss games away to Udinese and at home to Pescara once the season resumes after the winter break on January 6.
