Busquets: Barca players focused

Sergio Busquets has said the Barcelona players are all focused on getting three points from Saturday's Primera Division trip to Real Valladolid, after what has been a difficult week for all at the Catalan club.

Barca coach Tito Vilanova will miss the game at the Nuevo Jose Zorilla as he recovers in hospital after a successful operation to remove a parotid gland on Thursday morning.

Spain international Busquets said the Primera Division leaders' minds were all concentrated on the job at hand.

"They are three very important points, above all after what we have been through this week," Busquets said. "The most important thing now is that we are all together and help each other. We must make an effort for (Vilanova)."

In Vilanova's absence assistant coach Jordi Roura will take control of team affairs. Busquets said everyone at the club had full confidence that he would do well.

"Roura is a calm person," Busquets said. "He knows what he has to do and he has the confidence of everyone. I am sure he will do very well. The club captains know how to manage these situations. We do not want anything strange to happen."

Miroslav Djukic's Zaragoza tested Real Madrid recently, particularly at set pieces, and Busquets said he expected a tough test in the game.

"They are a good team," he said. "More than their aerial power, they play good football. They are having a good season. But we must just focus on our own game."

Roura is not expected to make many changes to Barca's line-up for the game. Andres Iniesta and Adriano Correia missed training during the week with minor problems but both should be available to start as the Catalans look to continue their record breaking start to the season in their last game of 2012.

The Spanish media reported on Friday morning that Vilanova was doing well, and had been removed from the intensive care unit at Barcelona's Vall d'Hebron hospital. Barca's players are expected to wear T-shirts carrying messages of support for their coach during their warm-up before the game.
