Bendtner out for three months

Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner is facing up to three months on the sidelines after suffering a leg injury.

Bendtner, on a season-long loan from Arsenal, sustained the injury during Wedneday's 1-0 Coppa Italia victory over Cagliari.

A statement on read: "Nicklas Bendtner has undergone an MRI scan and ultrasound that have revealed a lesion on his left adductor tendon. The prognosis will become clearer after further examinations which the Danish striker will undergo in the coming days."

The injury leaves Fabio Quagliarella, Mirko Vucinic and Sebastian Giovinco as the only forwards available to coach Antonio Conte.

Juventus were, however, able to report good news on midfielder Arturo Vidal, who was shown to have suffered only light bruising after complaining of pain in his knee during the Cagliari game.
