Fellaini happy at Everton

Marouane Fellaini insists that personal awards are no match for the prize of achieving Champions League football with Everton.

• Blog: Mirallas vital for Everton

Fellaini, who has been named Premier League player of the month for November, has set his sights on guiding David Moyes' men into the top four.

The Belgium international's long-term future at Goodison Park has been the subject of intense speculation this season. In September, he told a newspaper in his home country that this could be his last season on Merseyside - later backtracking on his Facebook page - while Moyes has admitted that a huge offer for the midfielder would be hard to turn down.

Yet after Zenit St Petersburg declared last week that they wanted to sign him in January, Fellaini responded by stating that he wants to stay at Goodison Park.

He won the Premier League's player of the month award after scoring four of Everton's eight goals during November. The 25-year-old also helped Everton climb back to fourth place in the Premier League as they scored twice late on to beat Tottenham 2-1 on Sunday.

He said: "I am very happy with the award but the most important thing is the team. Everybody wants to play in the Champions League, so everyone is working hard and at the end of the season we want to be in the top four.

"At the moment, I am playing well. I try to give my maximum in every game. The manager likes it when I play in attack, so at the moment, it's good for me and the club. I've been scoring the goals and I work hard on the pitch."
