David Beckham back on PSG's radar

French media reports claim Paris Saint-Germain have re-joined the race to sign David Beckham and have offered the former England captain a six-month contract.

Beckham is leaving LA Galaxy for a new challenge

Radio station RMC cites a source close to Beckham saying 'Paris Saint-Germain have made the offer of a contract to David Beckham'. Though initially only a half-year deal, the offer reportedly does include an option to extend the agreement.

While Monaco, supported by a wealthy Russian owner, have only recently been linked with the 37-year-old, PSG have been tipped as potential suitors ever since Beckham's former coach at AC Milan, Carlo Ancelotti, arrived at the Parc des Princes last January.

Indeed, Beckham himself revealed the Italian, among others, had personally congratulated him on last weekend's MLS triumph, which signalled the end of his LA Galaxy career, but added: "That doesn't mean they want to sign me."
