Chiellini dreaming of derby goal

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is hoping to score another derby goal for the club after recovering from injury in time to face their city rivals Torino.

• Blog: A tale of one city

Chiellini, 28, who missed last Sunday's 1-0 defeat to AC Milan with a calf strain, scored the decisive goal in the last Turin derby back in 2009.

And the Italy international, who is relishing playing in another derby, is dreaming of a repeat on Sunday.

"I have recovered from the calf problem I felt towards the end of the match with Chelsea, it wasn't too serious and after a week I am back training with the team," he told Mediaset.

"It is wonderful to score in a game like this, because people do care about it so much. Some say that it matters more to Toro than to Juve, but I think that's underestimating how much people want to win.

"Even if we are fighting for different targets, once the derby begins it wipes out any differences. I am happy to be facing Torino again, as it's good for the city to have two Serie A sides.

"Will I score the winner again? I hope so! It would be a dream, though I imagine the Torino fans wouldn't see it that way."

Meanwhile, Stephan Lichtsteiner has emerged as a January transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain, reports in the Italian media have suggested.

Turin daily newspaper La Stampa believe that the Swiss right-back, who has made just seven starts in Serie A this season, will be the subject of a serious bid from the French Capital club as they continue to spend at will in their chase for success.

Lichtsteiner has three years remaining on his Juventus contract but the report goes on to speculate that the move may be possible given the presence of Mauricio Isla and Martin Caceres in Turin.
