Alexandre Pato "is happy at Milan" and will not be returning home to Brazil following a meeting between the player's agent and Adriano Galliani.
Rumours began circulating in the the Italian press that the Brazilian could be loaned to Corinthians after he had made it clear he wanted to feature more for the Rossoneri. Those stories intensified at the weekend as club owner Silvio Berlusconi called Pato "a problem."
However, on Wednesday vice president Galliani met the player's representative Gilmar Veloz who told O Tempo his client would not be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
Veloz said: "Pato is doing well in Europe, he doesn't need to return to Brazil. He has 18 months left on his contract, it's unthinkable that an expensive player like him would be loaned out. When there is something concrete, we can talk. But right now, he is happy at Milan."
