Under-pressure Hoffenheim boss Markus Babbel has been given a vote of confidence despite his side's dispiriting 4-2 defeat at Nurnberg.
Hoffenheim general manager Andreas Muller said: "Babbel will be our coach on Sunday [against Werder Bremen]" but warned: "You need results."
The club are languishing in 16th place in the Bundesliga after 14 games, having targeted European qualification before the season started.
Speaking to Sky after the Nurnberg defeat, Muller said: "Our squad has potential, but it is vital to use the potential - only then does it become quality. Currently, we don't have that.
"We discussed those things with Markus. In the end, the team has to turn things around, but in football you never have any time. You need results. That's a fact."
Babbel told of his disappointment when he spoke to reporters after the Nurnberg defeat, saying: "We conceded goals through individual mistakes, our weakness in competitive situations and a lot of careless mistakes in defence - mistakes that should not happen at this level."
