Sao Paulo through to Copa final

Sao Paulo are through to the final of the Copa Sudamericana after they held Universidad Catolica to a 0-0 draw in the semi-final second leg.

A 1-1 draw in Chile last week meant the stalemate was enough to send the Brazilian giants through on away goals.

They will face either Millonarios or Argentinian side Tigre in the final, with the two sides playing their second leg in Colombia on Friday.

Jadson and the lively Luis Fabiano both had chances to break the deadlock for Sao Paulo before half-time but failed to convert, with Fabiano also going close late on in the match.

"Tonight it was a tough game," Jadson said. "All of us fought for all the match.

"I had three opportunities. The team had several more. However, all of us are celebrating. Now it's time to play well in the finals."
