Join me at PSG, Ibra tells Beckham

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has urged David Beckham to forget about a return to the Premier league with QPR and join him at Paris St Germain.

• Redknapp keen on Becks
• Cosmos role mooted
• Hammers eye Becks deal
• Australian clubs interested
• PSG deny Beckham reports

Beckham, 37, will play his final game in Major League Soccer when LA Galaxy face Houston Dynamo in the MLS Cup final on December 1, after which he is keen to take up "one final challenge".

He has been linked with moves to West Ham and QPR and a switch to the Australian A-League - but Ibrahimovic believes the former England captain would benefit from a move to Ligue 1.

The Sweden international, who joined the big-spending Paris club in the summer, said: "I am sure there will be many offers for him from clubs all over the world, but it is a very exciting project here in Paris and if he still wants more trophies then this is the right club for him to join.

"We can win the Champions League over the next two seasons with the team that is being built."

New QPR manager Harry Redknapp has expressed an interest in bringing Beckham to Loftus Road, having invited him to train with Tottenham during the MLS off-season in January 2011.

"I worked with him at Tottenham when he came to train and he is top drawer. He was great," Redknapp said.

"He's a top-class professional and would be great to have around the place. He can set a fantastic example in terms of his approach to training, everything."

Sources close to the player believe he could well rule out a move back to the Premier League, with interest also reported from Brazil and the possibility of a move within the MLS to New York Cosmos.

His representatives have told ESPN no decisions have been made, but a return to English football - he has previously said he would not play for any English club other than his old club Manchester United - is well down his list of priorities.

However, it is thought Beckham would consider a move to Brazil if one of the big clubs such as Santos, backed by lucrative sponsorship, made an offer, while there has also been contact from China, Australia and Russia.
