Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender will be fit to play against Mainz on Saturday despite breaking his nose in the 4-1 Champions League win against Ajax on Wednesday.
Bender, 23, was hit by the elbow of Ajax midfielder Eyong Enoh, leaving blood all over the Germany international's face.
"His opposing player was substituted with a bruised elbow," Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp said after the game. "This pretty much says it all."
While Dortmund fans chanted "are Bender's bones made out of glass?" during the match.
Bender, who has now picked up four different facial injuries in one year, was cleared to play against Mainz by club doctor Markus Braun and will wear a special mask to protect his nose.
The former 1860 Munich man is Dortmund's second player to break their nose within a few weeks. Captain Sebastian Kehl picked up the same injury against Stuttgart and was forced to wear a tailor-made mask in Dortmund's Champions League clash against Real Madrid a fortnight ago.
"Maybe Bender can use Kehl's mask," Klopp said.
