Afellay keen on Barca

Ibrahim Afellay is aiming to return to Barcelona and make an impact after completing his loan at Schalke.

Afellay, 26, moved to the Bundesliga on a last-minute loan deal from Barca in August, but has his heart set on returning to the Catalan club.

However he is also realistic about his chances, and underlined the importance he places on playing football regularly after missing much of last season through injury.

"It is my goal to return to Barcelona". Afellay told Dutch website OnsOranje, before adding: "It is as important that I enjoy playing the game. This feeling is stronger than ever."

The Dutch internatinonal has previously failed to win a first-team spot in Barcelona, but his time at the club was disrupted by injury problems.

"It is not given that you are fit and allowed to be on the pitch," he added. "I can say that from my own experience, and therefore can appreciate it even more."

Meanwhile, Russian paper Iswestija reports that José Manuel Jurado could move to Spartak Moscow on a permanent deal.

The Spanish midfielder was loaned out to the Russian Champions League team this summer, and according to the paper is ready to pay €4 million for the midfielder, who was signed for Schalke in a €13 million deal from Atletico Madrid in 2010.
