Report: PSG denies Ronaldo talks

PSG's sporting director Leonardo has refuted claims the French club have set in motion an ambitious plan to prise Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho away from Real Madrid.

Paris Saint Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi on Thursday denied reports that his team is negotiating to bring Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo and coach Jose Mourinho to Paris.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a player for Real Madrid. I have not contacted his club and no one has contacted me on behalf of him," Al Khelaifi told L'Equipe Thursday, although he did not deny that the team is interested in the player.

On Wednesday, Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that PSG and Ronaldo were negotiating a historic 100 million euro contract, and that any deal would also include Mourinho, although the newspaper cited no sources.
