Paulinho claims Inter Milan bid

Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has claimed to have received an offer from Inter Milan but has stressed he is happy in Brazil.

Pauinho, 24, has recently been linked with a move away from Corinthians, with Chelsea, Inter and PSG all credited with an interest.

Last week, the Brazil international played down speculation of a switch to Chelsea, but he admits the ongoing speculation is affecting his focus.

He is quoted by Foot365 as saying: "There is plenty of speculation surrounding me. These rumours about Chelsea destabilise me and my relationship with Corinthians.

"But with Chelsea there is absolutely nothing. If there was something concrete, I'd let everyone know.

"Inter made me an official offer, you know that. I confirmed the proposal and then I decided to stay in Brazil. But now with Chelsea, there is nothing,

"I'm happy with Corinthians, even at this time. Also, I have challenges ahead such as the Club World Cup.

"For this reason, I remain focused on the pitch and fortunately I have a group of friends here in Brazil that help me to keep my feet on the ground and my head at Corinthians."
