Marchisio: Time has come to win

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has stated "the time has come to win" as the club prepare for their Champions League clash with FC Nordsjaelland on Tuesday coming off the back of two draws in the competition.

• Blog: Juve must avoid complacency

Juve currently sit third in Group E, two points behind leaders Chelsea, having drawn 2-2 at the European champions before following that up with a 1-1 draw at home to Shakhtar Donetsk.

And with his side yet to win, Marchisio, 26, knows three points are vital to their hopes of progressing in Europe's elite competition.

"There are no easy games in the Champions League, so we have to be careful," he said. "Nordsjaelland are a team that like to play football, with a lot of internationals in their squad.

"This match is decisive for us in Europe. We drew the first two games and now the time has come to win."

While Juve are desperate to secure victory they are well aware of the threat that the Danish champions possess.

Assistant coach Angelo Alessio believes his side have prepared for the task ahead while adding that they are not underestimating their opponents.

"We have great respect for Nordsjælland, they are a team that plays great football and have done well against Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea," he said.

"They play good possession football, and we realise how much quality they have. We have prepared for a challenging match."
