Mazzarri: Juve and Napoli best in Serie A
Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri believes Juventus and the Naples club are "the best two teams" in Serie A but concedes other sides have the quality to prevent the title becoming a two-horse race.
The Italian champions currently sit top of the table, with only goal difference separating them from second-placed Napoli. Both sides have yet to lose a game, winning six of their seven fixtures and drawing one.
Meanwhile, AC Milan and Udinese - who finished second and third respectively last season - have both had troubled starts to their new campaigns.
And the Napoli boss, who - according to a club statement - has cancelled his traditional pre-match press conference to concentrate on this weekend's top of the table clash with Juve, believes the top two are currently ahead of the chasing pack in terms of quality.
"It is too early to judge but Juventus and Napoli are probably the best two teams," he told QS.
"There are others who follow us closely though. Roma, for instance, have a lot of talent and Inter are a side that people thought had been left for dead but have instead kicked into life this year.
"Lazio have a brilliant, technical team and are serious contenders. You cannot count out Milan either, they have the experience, a great tradition and will be back amongst the top soon.
"Then last but not least, you have to remember Fiorentina. They have played well and have produced some great results and have been the big surprise of the season."
Juventus and Napoli meet on Saturday at the Juventus Stadium.
