St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said his dream is to score more goals than his hero, Paris St Germain's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Aubameyang, who joined Ibrahimovic's former club AC Milan at the age of 17 before being loaned out to Dijon, Lille and Monaco and moving to St Etienne last year, scored 16 goals in 2011-2012.
He is targeting even more this season - having already struck five times in eight games - and said: "I want to prove I'm a real striker. I want to be better than last year, scoring more than 16 times."
The Gabon international paid lavish tribute to Sweden international Ibrahimovic, saying: "He is a top class, an amazing striker. Despite being very tall, he is really great on the ball.
"To compete with him will be hard - he has started very well this season. If I score more than him, that is good for me. If I can do as much as him, that's good, too. We'll see at the end."
