Henderson joins Ipswich on loan
West Ham United goalkeeper Stephen Henderson has joined Championship outfit Ipswich on loan.
Henderson has been training with Paul Jewell's side for two days and formalised his three-month loan deal on Tuesday afternoon, according to the club's official website.
The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Portsmouth in May this year. He told Ipswich's website: "I've not played much football this season so when I was told I could go out on loan, my agent contacted Ipswich and once I knew they wanted me, that was it.''
Jewell added: "We're delighted to have Stephen here and he will add to the competition we have in the goalkeeping areas.''
Dublin-born Henderson started his career at Bristol City in 2007 before joining Portsmouth in the summer of 2011.
