Adel Taarabt has pleaded for patience at Queens Park Rangers, arguing that their raft of new foreign signings need time to adjust to English football.
Mark Hughes' QPR are bottom of the table with only two points from seven games, but Taarabt has said that must be put into the context of not just the sheer number of summer additions but also the quantity of those players that have come from abroad with no experience of the Premier League.
Taarabt, who started his career at Lens, noted how, in particular, the likes of Esteban Granero have to get used to the different style of passing game.
"We have a lot of players, it's true," Taarabt said. "But we have foreign players who have not yet adapted to English football.
"For Esteban [Granero], he tries to get the ball down and play it there - but it has been difficult and we need more time."
