Robinho suffers injury setback

AC Milan forward Robinho is set for a spell on the sidelines after the club confirmed he has sustained a thigh injury.

• De Sciglio - the next Maldini?

Milan announced on their official website on Tuesday that Robinho, 28, will be unavailable for around ten days after injuring his right leg.

The Brazil international is likely to miss Saturday's Serie A clash with Lazio and next week's Champions League tie against Malaga.

Robinho, whose side are 11th in the table, has only made four appearances in the league this season, including three from the bench.

He signed for Milan from Manchester City in 2010, after struggling to settle in the Premier League, going on to lift the Serie A title with the Rossoneri in 2011.
