Agent: Rossi could move to Inter
Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi could be on his way to Inter Milan in January, according to the player's agent.
Rossi, 25, has not played for over a year after first damaging his anterior cruciate ligament in October 2011 before suffering a recurrence of the same injury in April.
Despite the Italy international's distinct lack of match fitness, his agent Federico Pastorello believes the player will be back to full fitness in the early part of next year and could interest Inter.
"Giuseppe Rossi will recover 100% and we'll see him back on the pitch in March,'' Pastorello told gazzetta.it. "He will come back stronger than before.
"Inter are a viable option for Giuseppe Rossi. We talked a lot about the various ways in which we can be in Italy and abroad.''
Fiorentina and Roma are also believed to be interested in the former Manchester United man, who is yet to make his comeback for Villarreal since their relegation from Spain's top flight last season.
Rossi scored 32 goals in his last full season with the Spanish side in the 2010-11 campaign.
