Marseille defender Nicolas Nkoulou is being watched by AC Milan with a view to a move next summer.
Ariedo Braida, number three at Milan behind president Silvio Berlusconi and coach Adriano Galliani, told La Provence that the Italian side had been looking at the Cameroon international since his three-year spell at Monaco which ended in 2011. "I saw on my own his first match under Monaco's colours," he said.
Despite Milan's interest a move is not imminent, with Braida adding that the club's financial situation is restricting their movement in the market.
"We are watching him, but we have already six full-backs. Maybe for next season. Today, fees are very high. During the winter transfer window, we have not the money to hire a great defender"
