Hanley out for Scotland
Blackburn defender Grant Hanley has pulled out of the Scotland squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers through injury.
Scotland assistant manager Peter Houston confirmed that the versatile 20-year-old will miss the trips to Wales and Belgium over the international window with a groin injury.
Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass is also a doubt for the Group A double-header with an ankle injury which saw him miss the 4-1 Premier League defeat at Chelsea last weekend.
However, Scotland boss Craig Levein is expected to have the rest of his squad given a clean bill of health ahead of the visits to Cardiff on Friday October 12 and Brussels the following Tuesday.
