Paris St Germain captain Christophe Jallet has said he is delighted with the improvement in his team since they recorded their first league victory of the season.
The big-spending Parisian club travelled to Lille after three Ligue 1 draws in a row - and recording a win there has led to a confident run which, Jallet says, has them looking forward to facing Porto in the Champions League this week and Marseille in the weekend's big domestic game.
PSG have won four league games in a row and began their Champions League campaign with a 4-1 thrashing of Dynamo Kiev at the Parc des Princes. The winning run has seen them score 12 times while conceding only Kiev's goal.
''This match [Lille] allowed us to be more confident. We feel calmer, and we have a better collective control than we did during the first games," Jallet told RTL on Monday after the weekend's 2-0 win over Sochaux. "We are in the ideal position before next week's game [against Marseille].''
PSG are second in the table going in to the Marseille game, but Jallet warned them not to take their eyes off the Porto game, saying: "Porto are the big team in that group, and they have a lot of experience in Champions League. That's a big test."
And he hailed his team's two big summer signings, saying: "Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] has amazing ease on the pitch - he does what he wants with the ball, with both feet.
"He sees the game before the others, like Thiago Silva. To be working with players like that is exceptional."
