Blackwell appointed Bury manager
League One side Bury have announced the appointed Kevin Blackwell as their new manager.
Former Leeds, Luton and Sheffield United boss Blackwell replaces Richie Barker, who left in August to take charge of Crawley Town.
He faces a tough challenge at Bury, with the club currently bottom of the table after taking just three points from eight matches.
Blackwell, who took both Leeds and Sheffield United to the Championship play-off final, will take charge of Bury for the first time against Stevenage on Saturday.
