Who could be leaving Chelsea?

Carrera plays down Chelsea clash

Caretaker coach Massimo Carrera insists Juventus' Champions League opener with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night will be just "a normal game".

With coach Antonio Conte prevented from taking his place on the bench or attending press conferences due to his ten month suspension for offences related to match fixing, Carrera has stepped into the breach.

He told reporters: "I'm not nervous. It will be a normal game for me. We are back in Europe and are very proud to be facing the holders of the trophy. It represents an important test for us."

The Turin club have started the season well but had to come from behind to beat Genoa at the weekend. Carrera made changes at half-time to turn the game around, eventually running out 3-1 winners, but he knows they cannot repeat those mistakes in West London.

"We still have to work in order to improve," he added. "We watched back the recording of the Genoa game and studied the mistakes made so that we won't repeat them again. We have even more reason to prepare and wipe out those errors considering we are facing a strong side like Chelsea."
