Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta could miss up to two weeks of play due to a right thigh injury suffered during Spain's 1-0 UEFA World Cup qualifying match Tuesday vs. Georgia.
According to a Barca statement, Iniesta damaged the adductor muscle in his right leg during last night's World Cup qualifying win over Georgia and will be out for between "10 to 15 days."
Barca also announced that fullback Jordi Alba, another member of the Spain side that beat Georgia, has the flu and will undergo further tests on Friday.
Barca plays Getafe in the Primera Division this weekend before then taking on Spartak Moscow in their opening Champions League group match next Wednesday. Tito Vilanova's men then face Granada in the league the following weekend.
