Swansea snap up Taylor replacement
Swansea have brought in former Netherlands Under-21s left-back Dwight Tiendalli on a free transfer as a replacement for the injured Neil Taylor.
Taylor, 23, was sidelined for the rest of the season after a collision with Aston Villa's Craig Gardener on September 1 left him with a broken ankle.
Tiendalli, 26, has signed until the end of the season after being released by FC Twente at the end of last season, following three years at the club.
And the new boy is eager to start work at Swansea and sign up to their brand of free-flowing football.
"The style of football here is very, very attractive. I love this style and it was a big attraction for me," he told the club's official website. "I'm looking forward to working under Michael Laudrup, who is a massive name in football, and showing him what I have to offer. Playing in the Premier League is something I have always wanted to do - it's the best league in the world."
Tiendalli will face competition for a starting berth from Ben Davies, who received his first international call-up for Wales last week.
The former Twente man started his career at Ajax before moving on to Utrecht and Feyenoord, where he also spent a period on loan at Sparta Rotterdam.
