Sneijder commits to Inter

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has insisted he has no intention of leaving the club before his contract expires in 2015.

Sneijder, 28, has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saintt-Germain and Real Madrid on and off for a number of seasons, ever since playing an integral role in Inter's Treble-winning campaign of 2009-10.

No move has ever materialised, however, and the Netherlands international insists he is keen to stay with the Serie A club.

"I want to stay at Inter," Sneijder told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I have never, never thought about leaving Inter. I like the team, the city, the club, and I also like the coach."

Sneijder has not yet decided what he will do when his contract expires with the Nerazzurri, and said a return to former club Ajax remains a possibility.

"Never say never, but now it's too soon to think about [returning to Ajax]," he said. "I have a deal with Inter until 2015 and I want, as a minimum, to remain until the end of the contract."

Sneijder also revealed he is enjoying working under Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni. "He understands players, like president [Massimo] Moratti. Stramaccioni talks a lot with me, about everything. This lets me feel his faith and this is good for each player."

Sneijder said Inter are capable of clinching the Scudetto this season.

"I don't believe that Juve are stronger than us or other teams," he said. "It seems that Milan are in pieces but they still have good players. We are right there with Napoli and Roma. It will be hard for everyone to be able to win the league. Juve are the champions and the favourite but we can beat them."

Sneijder also suggested the Europa League is a serious target for Inter. "Why not? If the team is good, why not try to go all the way? I would like to play the final in Amsterdam."
