Milan quash Andy Carroll links
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has moved to dismiss the rumoured loan arrival of Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.
Carroll, 23, has been linked with Milan all summer with press speculation both in England and Italy that the former Newcastle man would move to the San Siro on loan after failing to work his way into new manager Brendan Rodgers' long-term plans.
Galliani confirmed on Tuesday night that Milan had signed Roma striker Bojan Krkic before denying the England striker - or indeed Real Madrid forward Kaka - would follow him into the club.
"Bojan is a good signing and with him we close the transfer market," he said. "Tomorrow [Wednesday] he will undergo his medical and he'll be available for this weekend's trip to Bologna.
"Carroll on loan from Liverpool? We have completed our selection of forwards and will not be buying any more. It's a pity Robinho got injured but we will wait for him. As for Kaka, there will be no trip to Madrid for further talks with Real."
