Australia captain Lucas Neill has signed for Diego Maradona's former club Al Wasl in the United Arab Emirates after being released by Al Jazira last season.
Neill, 34, previously played for Millwall, Blackburn, Everton and West Ham United in the Premier League and Galatasary in Turkey, while he boasts a host of experience at international level as well.
"Neill has the international experience necessary to be a success and has experience of the league through his time here last season", said Al Wasl's first-team supervisor Ismail Rashid.
"He is still at the top of his game physically and technically, and, as captain of his country, is a key member of the Australia squad.
"He has experience of the English Premier League, too, which when you put everything together ensures he adds to the team the level of quality we desire."
