Thiago Silva will be introduced to the press on Friday evening in Crillon, one of the most luxurious hotels in Paris.
The Brazilian defender, the most expensive player in French football history (€42 million plus bonuses), will appear alongside to Nasser Al Khelaïfi, PSG's president, and sporting director Leonardo.
Recently arrived from AC Milan, Silva is yet to play with his new team and resumed training only last Friday following the Olympic Games.
But, according to new team-mate Blaise Matuidi, his integration has been fast: ''Everything is OK, he is lucky to have Brazilians in the squad (Alex, Maxwell and Nene) and guys he played against in Italy (he was in AC Milan with Zlatan in the last two seasons). That's important for him. He is a top class, we hope he'll be ready soon."
Silva is not expected to play this weekend against Bordeaux, while Ibrahimovic, who is still suffering an ankle injury, could also miss out. The club, though, remain optimistic about the Swede's participation, with Ibrahimovic having trained all week after missing the game in Ajaccio last weekend.
Les Parisiens started without a recognised striker in Corsica, but Kevin Gameiro is expected to start on Sunday should Ibrahimovic withdraw.
