Cardiff City have signed defender Matthew Connolly from Queens Park Rangers on a three-year deal.
Connolly, who can play in any position across the defence, moved to Loftus Road in 2008 but saw his opportunities limited after the club's promotion to the Premier League in 2011.
He was allowed to join Reading on loan last season and has now made a permanent switch to South Wales.
A statement on QPR's website read: "Matthew Connolly has joined Championship club Cardiff City. The 24-year-old has penned a three year-deal in South Wales, after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for the defender's services."
Connolly, a former Arsenal player, could make his debut in Saturday's game at Bristol City.
