Suarez and Coates in Olympic squad

Uruguay have announced their squad for this summer's Olympic Games, with Liverpool duo Sebastian Coates and Luis Suarez amongst the big-name inclusions.

Oscar Tabarez's side have been drawn in the same group as UAE, Senegal and hosts Great Britain for the tournament, which Uruguay have won twice.

Striker Suarez is one of the three permitted over-age players selected, with Palermo's Arevalo Rios and Napoli's Edinson Cavani also included.

The South Americans, who join fellow CONMEBOL side Brazil in the competition, are anticipated to be one of the challengers for the title in London, having finished second in the 2011 South American Under-20 Championship and won the Copa America at senior level.

Goalkeepers: Martín Campana, Leandro Gelpi. Defenders: Ramon Arias, Sebastian Coates, Alexis Rolin, Emiliano Albin, Diego Polenta, Matias Aguirregaray. Midfielders: Maximiliano Calzada, Egidio Arevalo Rios, Diego Rodriguez, Gaston Ramirez, Nicolas Lodeiro. Forwards: Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani, Abel Hernandez, Tabare Viudez, Jonathan Urretaviscaya.
