Balotelli not seeking City exit

Mario Balotelli's focus may be on Italy's Euro 2012 semi-final with Germany, but his agent has claimed the striker has no intention of leaving Manchester City.

Controversy is never far from Balotelli, but he put a series of issues behind him to play a key part as City lifted the Premier League title last season.

It had been claimed he may leave City on a high, as reports suggested he could be lured back to Italy by Serie A champions Juventus. It would appear the prospect of a return to Italy is an attractive one, but the player's agent says the 21-year-old is beyond the Old Lady's financial means.

"Maybe I have not been clear - Balotelli can't come back to Italy," agent Mino Raiola said. "Italian football's economic situation means that at the moment top players can't come to Italy.

"In football, nothing is impossible, but Mario hasn't spoken to me. He has no intention to come back. City and the coach are relying on him."
