Bayern confirm Mandzukic signing

Mario Mandzukic will join Bayern Munich from Wolfsburg for an undisclosed fee, Bayern have confirmed.

The Croatia international, who scored three goals for his country at Euro 2012, will move to the Bavarian club on a four-year contract, subject to a medical due to take place in the next few days.

"We are very pleased to have signed Mario Mandzukic, who is one of the top strikers in the Bundesliga and who proved his goalscoring qualities at Euro 2012," Bayern director of sport Christian Nerlinger said. "He will bring further strength to our squad.''

Mandzukic, 26, scored 20 goals in 56 appearances for Wolfsburg after joining them from Dinamo Zagreb in 2010.

He is the sixth new arrival at Bayern this summer, following Xherdan Shaqiri, Dante, Tom Starke, Claudio Pizarro and Mitchell Weiser.
