De Rossi keen on Premier League

Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has suggested he is tempted by a move to the Premier League after saying that English football was "more interesting" than Serie A.

• De Rossi signs new deal

Speaking ahead of Italy's Euro 2012 quarter-final clash with England in Kiev, De Rossi revealed he had received multiple offers from Premier League clubs.

De Rossi only signed a new five-year deal with his hometown club in February, but with the 28-year-old having been strongly linked with Manchester City last season, he has reignited speculation surrounding his future.

"I have received many offers from English football, and I must say that I feel attraction for it," De Rossi said. "I like English football very much. I think now it's probably more interesting than Italian football. There are lots of outstanding and talented players, as is the case for Spain as well."

Roberto Mancini had said in December that De Rossi "would be the perfect man to improve City", while Real Madrid and Manchester United have also previously been linked with De Rossi.
