Milan rule out move for Man City striker

AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani has ruled out a move for Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, saying the Premier League club and player "make a nice couple".

Balotelli, a boyhood fan of the Rossoneri, has long been linked with a move to Milan and even courted controversy by wearing the club's colours while an Inter Milan player.

Currently on International duty with Italy, Balotelli scored against Ireland on Monday but then had to be gagged by team-mate Leonardo Bonucci during a typically controversial celebration.

And Milan chief executive Galliani seems happy to see the striker causing consternation at Eastlands, where he has picked up five red cards, rather than at the San Siro.

"Mario to AC Milan?" Galliani is quoted as saying by talkSPORT. "No, no, not AC Milan, Manchester City is his. Do they make a good couple? Yes, a nice couple."
