Pato agent talks up PSG transfer

Alexandre Pato remains a chance of joining big-spending Ligue 1 outfit Paris-Saint Germain from AC Milan this summer, according to the player's agent.

Pato has been linked with a move to PSG since January, with manager Carlo Ancelotti declaring a strong interest in luring the Brazilian to Parc des Princes. Indeed, Ancelotti launched a failed bid for Pato during the last transfer window and earlier this month confirmed PSG would submit another bid in June.

The player's agent, Gilmar Veloz, says Pato admires Ancelotti, suggesting a move will be completed if PSG offer Milan an agreeable sum.

"Pato has a great relationship with Ancelotti," Veloz told TMW. "He's a great coach. He has immense respect for him, and they have a great bond."

He added: "If Milan reach an agreement with a club and call me then we'll discuss it, but any decision lies with the Rossoneri as Pato has a contract."

Pato this week made a full return from the muscle injuries which plagued him throughout the season. After making just 18 appearances this term, Pato is now ready to link up with Brazil ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against Denmark, United States, Mexico and Argentina.
