Lyon midfielder Ederson is close to securing a switch to Lazio this summer, according to the player's agent Antonio Caliendo.
Ederson, 26, is set to make the switch to Serie A after an injury hit four years at Lyon, with his current contract due to expire next month.
The Brazilian joined Lyon from Nice in 2008 and made 14 league appearances this campaign, scoring twice. He will now join Europa League qualifiers Lazio, where he may team up with compatriot Hernanes in midfield.
Caliendo told Mana Nana Sport: "All that is missing is the signature but Ederson will be a Lazio player. Lazio president (Claudio) Lotito has been interested in him for five years. His future will be at Lazio even though he has received offers from Brazil. I will soon meet up again with Lazio and I hope the signatures will then follow."
Ederson has one cap for Brazil, playing a friendly against the United States in August 2010. However, his debut lasted only a couple of minutes before he ruptured a hamstring to start two years of injury heartache.
