Drogba: I don't act

Didier Drogba has told Friday's pre-match press conference that he is not an "actor" after seemingly being labelled one by Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes.

Heynckes claimed earlier on Friday that Chelsea striker Drogba on occasions "overdoes it a bit", adding: "Sometimes he's an outstanding actor on the pitch.'' Bayern later blamed the translation given, insisting the word "actor" should have been "performer''.

It was too late to stop the quote making news and when asked whether he was an actor, Drogba responded: "As far as I know, no. They (Bayern) have a great manager with a lot of experience. I have a lot of respect for him and that's all I can say.''

Pressed further on the matter, Drogba added: "Oh, no, I don't think so. No, no, no.''

Saturday's Champions League final with Bayern could be Drogba's final game for the Blues, with the Ivorian forward yet to sign a new contract. Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay had revealed after the FA Cup final that talks would resume at the end of the season.

"We'll sit down with him and we're going to talk. There are a lot of rumours about me being offered to Barcelona. It's not true. It's not true,'' Drogba said on the matter today.

He added: "No matter what happens, everybody's talking a lot about 'last game'. I'm just happy because we're again in the Champions League final. Nobody expected us to be there at the beginning of the season but I think we did everything to reach the finals. Now we'll do everything to win.''

For Drogba, the final will be particularly important, with the Ivorian having ended his last appearance on the final stage in disgrace. Drogba was sent off in the 2009 final for a slap on Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic.

"It was a difficult moment for me and for the club as well. I apologised to the fans. It's one memory I cannot forget but, at the same time, it's the past," Drogba added

"It was a good experience, a first Champions League final for Chelsea - an experience. Now I think we've learned from that."
