Hutton set for surgery
Alan Hutton is to miss Aston Villa's final game of the season against Norwich after suffering ruptured ankle ligaments.
Hutton sustained the injury in a tackle with Tottenham's Danny Rose during the 1-1 draw which confirmed Villa's Premier League survival.
The full-back will undergo surgery next week and spend eight weeks out of action but is expected to be fit for next season.
McLeish said: "It's a blow. I knew it was a bad tackle at the time, the guy went high and followed through. He will have an operation next week and will be on the treatment table over the summer.''
Rose was sent off for the challenge against Hutton and 10-man Spurs saw their Champions League qualification hopes suffer a blow.
Villa took the lead in the first half through Ciaran Clark and Rose was then sent off early in the second period.
