The victorious Brisbane Roar soccer team are to once again receive public congratulations after successfully defending their A-League title on the weekend.
A ticker tape parade for the team is to be held in Brisbane's Queen Street Mall at 11am (AEST) on Tuesday.
The Roar were handed the keys to the city in 2011 after winning their first A-League final in thrilling fashion.
On Sunday, Brisbane became the first A-League team to win back-to-back titles with another nail-biting victory in front of more than 50,000 fans.
Queensland Premier Campbell Newman and Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk are to officially recognise the Roar squad with a presentation in King George Square.
Mr Newman says the Roar's win continues the state's proud sporting history in other football codes.
"The determination that the Roar showed in coming from behind to seize the win in the last minutes of the game typified the never-say-die attitude of Queensland," he said in a statement.
