Bolton complete Wylde signing
Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of former Rangers winger Gregg Wylde on a free transfer.
Wylde was the subject of strong interest from the Premier League side during the January transfer window, but no deal was agreed between the two clubs.
Rangers' financial situation has taken a severe turn for the worse in recent weeks, however, and Wylde was one of the first players to attempt to help the beleaguered club by agreeing to terminate his contract earlier in the week.
With many clubs showing interest, Bolton manager Owen Coyle expressed his delight at managing to add to his relegation-threatened squad.
"To capture a player of Gregg Wylde's talent is a fantastic bit of business for the football club, especially given the interest that was shown in him by a number of other Premier League teams,'' Owen Coyle said. "He is young, quick and exciting, and has played at a very high level with Glasgow Rangers, both domestically and in Europe.
"Gregg is a creator and scorer of goals. We are thrilled to have him on board and everyone is looking forward to working with him.''
