Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has joined Championship side Watford on loan until the end of the season.
Kuszczak, 29, has not featured for United this season, with summer signing David de Gea and Denmark goalkeeper Anders Lindergaard ahead of him in the Old Trafford pecking order.
The Poland international has made 61 appearances for the Red Devils since arriving in summer 2006 but no longer seems to feature in the plans of manager Sir Alex Ferguson and is expected to leave United when his contract expires in the summer.
Kuszczak started his professional career with Hertha Berlin and moved to England in 2004 when he signed for West Brom. He switched to Old Trafford in July 2006, initially on loan from the Baggies before penning a permanent deal the following summer.
Kuszczak, who will wear the number 35 shirt at Vicarage Road, will battle for a starting berth with former England Under-21 keeper Scott Loach, who has played in 31 of Watford's 35 games so far this term.
