Jose tells Chelsea, Inter to back bosses

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has urged the disgruntled fans of former clubs Chelsea and Inter Milan to get behind their own coaches after his name was chanted at both Stamford Bridge and the San Siro.

Current Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has struggled to make his mark at the club where Mourinho won five trophies, including two Premier League titles, and the Special One's name was sung as the Blues laboured to a 1-1 FA Cup draw with Birmingham on Saturday.

Inter coach Claudio Ranieri is also under-fire and is beginning to struggle after a good start to his reign at the Nerazzurri, with whom Mourinho won the Champions League and two Serie A titles, and the Portuguese's name rang out following Friday's 3-0 Serie A defeat at home to Bologna.

However, Mourinho, who took a big step towards winning the Spanish Primera Liga title as Real Madrid beat Racing Santander 4-0 on Saturday to open up a 13 point lead ahead of second placed Barcelona, has urged his old clubs to focus on the present.

"My message to the fans is I love Chelsea and Inter a great deal but I would prefer them to support their own teams and coaches," Mourinho said.

"I am the past, a very good past, but I am not there anymore and they should all be fighting together."

Chelsea are in danger of missing out on a top four place in the Premier League while Inter are sixth in Serie A after a run of three straight defeats.
