Takashi Usami confirmed he is seeking a move away from Bayern Munich as the German giants hope to extend his loan deal from J.League side Gamba Osaka.
Usami has played just 50 minutes for the first team since making the move to the German giants in August.
Meanwhile, Bayern have expressed an interest in keeping the Japan international for another year, but Usami is looking to move to another European club to gain more game time.
"Bayern have expressed interest in borrowing me for an extra year," Usami told TZ."I'm not sure if it will work out this way.
"If I'm honest, I would rather not stay. If there is a team where I can play more and take on a greater role, then I'd rather go there."
"I cannot say if there are other offers. But if there is a good opportunity, I'll think about it," he said.
Usami, 19, has been a regular in Bayern's reserve team in the Regionalliga Sud, scoring six goals in 14 matches.
