Blackpool and Millwall advance in cup

Millwall will host Bolton in the FA Cup fifth round after a last-gasp win against Southampton at St Mary's, while Blackpool cruised into the last-16 with a 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Ian Holloway: 'The lads were terrific'

• Revised FA Cup draw

Liam Feeney came off the bench to score a late winner as Millwall secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Southampton at St Mary's.

With the match heading for extra time, the former Bournemouth winger drilled a low strike to complete an impressive comeback win as the Lions battled back from 2-1 down with just 13 minutes remaining.

Playing against their high-flying Championship rivals, Millwall, battling to avoid relegation to League One, started brightly and were rewarded with an early goal, Liam Trotter smashing in after a well-worked one-two with James Henry.

Adam Lallana clawed Southampton level after 35 minutes, sliding under David Forde before substitute Rickie Lambert produced a superb solo effort for his 18th goal of the season. But the Saints' lead was short-lived, Dany N'Guessan scoring against his former club to pull his level with ten minutes remaining.

And Feeney, coming off the bench to replace Guessan with just six minutes left, made an instant impact to fire a low strike past Bartosz Bialkowski in the second minute of stoppage time to secure a home tie against Owen Coyle's Trotters.

Blackpool booked a trip to Everton after beating Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 at Hillsborough courtesy of goals from Matt Phillips, Lomana LuaLua and Ludovic Sylvestre.

With nothing between the sides after a 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road, Matt Phillips needed just seven minutes to break the deadlock, firing a low strike past a diving Stephen Bywater after the Wednesday defence failed to clear their lines.

Blackpool tightened their grip on the match before a quarter-of-an-hour, LuaLua producing his trademark exuberant celebration after a well-worked goal from the Seasiders on the break. The former Newcastle striker started the move, playing a one-two with Kevin Phillips before racing clear down the left, cutting inside before curling his strike into the top corner.

And Sylvestre produced a near-identical goal to put the icing on the cake shortly after the break, receiving the ball from Matt Phillips before placing the ball into the top corner from a more acute angle.
